The Early Learning Hub-SA team comprises of hardworking, educated people passionate about education, they are characterized by a strong commitment to fostering learning and development. Our team typically possess diverse educational backgrounds and expertise, enabling them to approach challenges from various perspectives. Their dedication is evident in their collaborative efforts to create innovative solutions that enhance educational experiences for learners.

Selaelo Masenya

Ashley Jones

Selaelo Masenya is the co-founder of The Early Learning Hub-SA that was established in September 2024. He hold degree in Bachelor of Arts, Honours in Psychology and Postgraduate diploma in information studies from University of Limpopo and Postgraduate certificate in Education from University of South Africa. He worked in Limpopo Department of Education as a library intern in 2018 -2020, he also worked with an NGO called Funda Wande from 2020 - 2023 full time and 2024 part time Consultant for Funda Wande intervention programme.

He developed love for working with children while he was working with Department of Education on library services and administration, he continued working with children and youth in Funda Wande intervention programme of teacher assistants. He worked with foundation phase teachers in selected intervention schools by providing them with training, monitoring and support.

He is genuinely passionate working with youth, teenagers and children by empowering them to achieve their full potential through effective teaching methods, support and development.

Clement Thobejane

Don Francis

Clement Phaahla Thobejane was born in Limpopo. From an early age, Clement exhibited a strong affinity for technology and sports, which would shape both his academic and professional pursuits.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, which laid the foundation for his career in the tech industry. In addition to his degree, Clement obtained a Technical Support Certificate, further enhancing his expertise in providing effective IT solutions.

Clement’s professional journey is marked by various roles that showcase his versatility and leadership skills. He has served as a Project Coordinator, where he successfully managed projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all objectives were met on time and within budget. His role as an IT Administrator allowed him to oversee the technological infrastructure of organizations, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance. As a Project Manager, Clement demonstrated his ability to lead teams and drive projects forward, consistently delivering high-quality results.

In addition to his technical roles, Clement is passionate about youth development and empowerment. He is actively involved in a Youth Incubator program, where he mentors young individuals, helping them to develop their skills and reach their potential. As a Trainer, he shares his knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office packages, equipping others with essential tools for success in the digital age.

Outside of his professional life, Clement enjoys engaging in sports and exploring the latest advancements in computer technology. His diverse interests reflect his dynamic personality and commitment to personal growth.

Clement Phaahla Thobejane continues to strive for excellence in all his endeavors, inspiring those around him with his dedication and passion for technology and youth empowerment.

Kgaugelo Nkadimene

Alexa Young

Kgaugelo Nkadimene is a dedicated advocate for early learning and education. She is the founder of the Early Learning Hub-SA.

She is a passionate educator and social scientist with a commendable academic background and a diverse professional portfolio. She holds a BA degree in Social Sciences, augmented by three postgraduate qualifications from esteemed institutions, including the University of Limpopo, University of KwaZulu-Natal, and Rhodes University. In addition, she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of South Africa and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree, further enhancing her expertise in the field.

Kgaugelo commenced her career at the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA), where she gained valuable insights into governance and community development. She then transitioned to the financial sector, working at two prominent financial institutions before discovering her true calling in education. Her teaching journey has spanned both private and public schools, including an enriching international experience in China, where she taught learners from diverse backgrounds.

Motivated by her commitment to improving education quality from the ground up, Kgaugelo joined Funda Wande, an organization collaborating with the Department of Education focused on foundation phase education. Her work has emphasized the importance of early learning, as she strives to foster a solid academic foundation for young learners. In addition to her project work, Kgaugelo serves as a part-time lecturer at Rhodes University, where she trains seasoned teachers and Department of Education officials in best practices for foundation phase education.

Kgaugelo is particularly passionate about youth empowerment and educational initiatives, having participated in several impactful projects such as the Zazi iZandi pilot study, the LITASA conference, the Reading Academy, and the Funda Wande TA project. Her dedication and contributions to the field of education were recognized in 2022 when she was awarded the Ultimate Contributor Award by Funda Wande, celebrating her significant impact on the organization

With her multifaceted experience and unwavering commitment to early learning and youth development, Kgaugelo Nkadimene continues to inspire educators and learners alike, shaping a brighter future for the next generation.

Luzet Megale

Alexa Young

Luzet Megale is a co-founder of TELH, she is a dedicated and passionate community development professional and educator with 9 years of experience designing and implementing community development programs. Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and a Diploma in Teaching, she possesses a unique blend of skills and expertise that enables her to effectively engage with diverse communities, foster collaborative partnerships, and drive positive social change.
Throughout Luzet's career, she has worked with various organizations, governments, and community groups to develop and implement programs that address pressing social issues, such as poverty, education, and health. Her expertise spans program management, community engagement, capacity building, and advocacy.
She Designed and implemented community development programs that have positively impacted thousands of individuals and families. Luzet built and maintained strong partnerships with local governments, NGOs, and community organizations. She provided training and capacity-building support to community leaders, organizations, and stakeholders.
Luzet is a compassionate and empathetic individual who is deeply committed to social justice and community empowerment. She possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which enable her to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
